The Beach

The beach is my favorite place in the world. It is warm and the sand is awesome and us kids can do so much. We go there when the weather gets warm and we do so many different activities. There is Kan-Jam an awesome game, football, swimming, sand castles and volleyball. When the weather gets nice we go there a lot. Its only about a 45 minute ride so we end up there having fun a lot.

Chilling with friends

This is what us kids in Alden do as either a last resort or when we just wanna settle down and not go anywhere. Everyone has a friend who they can just lay around and be lazy and just watch tv with. After a long night at a party this is a great thing that most of us like to do.

Sports

Here in Alden we have a lot of good varsity sports teams such as football, baseball and basketball, all of which won their divisions this year. After school with nothing to do kids come out and watch sporting events and cheer on their Bulldogs (our mascot). Then for our professional teams, in football we have the Buffalo Bills and in hockey we have the Buffalo Sabres. Everyone around loves and roots for these teams and kids get together to watch the games. Some times we even get tickets and go to the games. That is a blast and we all have so much fun.

Parties

A big thing to do in Alden is go to parties. Basically every weekend someone is having a group of people over to chill and whatnot. Sometimes though there are huge parties where a lot of people get invited. Usually those are birthday parties. Partying is a ton of fun and a way to blow off steam after a stressful week at school and work. Us kids can be ourselves and do what we want up to a point.

The Mall

Going to the mall is another big thing kids around here like to do. We go there to walk around and shop a lot. There are so many stores and so much to buy there. Also the food court has so much good food to eat, that me and my friends always eat there. The big reason we go though is for the movie theater. We always go see movies when we are bored.

Concerts

Here in Alden we have a theme park close by and they hold concerts there. A lot of our friends get tickets and we go have a good time. Usually we arrive several hours early and hang out before the show. Many of the ones i have gone to have been country music. those are a lot of fun. This summer me and a group of friends are getting a few camp sites at a place called Jam in the Valley. Its a 3 day event with country concerts every evening, and on the last night a giant fireworks show. These events are always a good time and a lot of fun for everyone who goes.
